STND-410: OSHA Electrical Requirements - Below 600 Volts

Description: In this course the participant will be exposed to the basic tenets of the OSHA electrical requirements.  A checklist will be given, similar to those used by OSHA compliance officers. Details of how to recognize and handle below 600 V electrical hazards are explained and applied to real world applications. Case studies with proven applications to electrical hazards are explained. Topics covered include OSHA requirements for wiring methods, grounding, overcurrent protection, identification requirements and hazardous locations.
